Big juicy +ve OPK, but MC last week

Just got the clearest +opk although I had a miscarriage last week. Is this my hormones going bonkers or should I be ready to jump on OH when he gets in later?

With my last mc I had an ERPC on the 12th and by 19th I took a pg test...- then I took a OPK and got a very strong + and my af came 2 weeks after that so I did ovulate at that time

I'd say go for it if you think you're ready xx

I am thinking it may just be the hormones but either way I feel ok to try. I actually think I might have niggling cramps on the right and all my pain in the past has been restricted to the right so maybe I am ovulating. Fx'd

If you feel ok to try, then go for it! I have read about both scenarios - where you get positive opks because your hormones have gone nuts (you might get a positive opk if you've still got hcg kicking around), AND where girls have ovulated right after their m/c - like Mamafy says.

I usually get quite strong pains a few days before and the day I ov, so I'm kind of waiting for that - but my doctor did say to just start trying as soon as the bleeding stopped as it could happen any time.

Can I ask what opks you're using? I'm wondering whether to do the same myself - I used ICs in January but never really got a strong positive, but got pregnant anyway! I'd be interested to know what type you're using.

I think they are "Daignostics" thats all it says on the packaging, so I am not 100% thats the brand. They are just cheapies from ebay but prior to the MC seemed to be spot on. In fact so spot on I became pregnant!

I am just going to try anyway. The niggle on the right feels like O, so I am just going to get to it!

As said above if you feel ok about it go for it! I had a m/c last month am now nearly 5 weeks preggers so got a BFP on the next cycle. Not sure when I ovulated as I didn't OPK regularly and when I did they were negative - so I could have ovulated early as I wasn't OPKing then.

it has been 3 weeks today since i had an erpc 5/02/09 following being told i had missed miscarriage at my dating scan. I was 9 weeks. I did a pregnancy test and opk on the 7/02/09 and im still getting !! im so confusssed, does it really take this long for the hormones to get out of your system or is something wrong. I started ttc about a week after erpc once bleeding had stopped. Any one had similar problems?? Just want that to come so i can start ttc again. Dont have a clue when i should ovulate as my cycle is all over the place.

I am coming to the conclusion the stong OPK is merely hromones but I will still bd every other day and see if I can catch something.
Panda- that is amazing news, from which I have taken great comfort, however more importantly I am delighted for you. Its stories like this that make the bad times bearable and I wish you all the luck with your pregnancy. XXXX

opk line a lot less lighter today, so hopefully things are settling down. Im finding great comfort from this site as so many things have been worrying me and im able to talk to people who feel the same. Panda - congratulations! So did you get your BFP before your next AF even showed? That's what I'm hoping to do but have no idea when I'm going to ov now... I got pregnant in my first month ttc and did try opks but never got a proper positive and it evidently didn't matter... I think we're just going to bd every other day from this weekend, now bleeding has stopped and I've got a very very negative hpt...

Belle30 sounds like your in the same boat as me, i got pregnant in my first month ttc but dont have a clue when i will ov. Mr and dh have been bd every other day since bleeding stopped two weeks ago, my hcg levels have only dropped completely today as iv been doing tests every few days and only just got a negative today since my erpc. Hopefully now my hormones are settled down i should ov. Keep me posted on how things go xxxx

I am back to the darkest opk its nearly burning a hole through to the other side. I dont think i am ov, but am trying every other day despite light bleeding. I dont know any more what is right or wrong!

mazza, i did 2 opk tests today just out of curiosity and the strips i have off the internet had a very very faint line but the clear blue was a very strong positive!! im not sure if there 100% reliable so im going to see how i get on with basal body temperature. Its so frustraing though, you feel like your stuck in limbo xxx

did another opk yesterday and it was a very dark line, definately a ! today it has faded again! cant make out what is going on with opk's, does anyone know much about pcos?? i have heard this may be a reason for constant positive opk's. HPT is a definate now so at least my hcg has dropped back to under 5, but it has taken 3 weeks since my erpc. xxx

I wouldnt think PCOS unless you have other symptoms, I think it is just the wild hormones. I am still showing BFP on both OPKs and HPT! I am actually bored of looking, and I didnt think I would say that! LOL.xxxxx
