I'm not sure where I should post this? But this is my guess.

We just recently received Brayden's birth certificate, and his "father"s name is not on it? He filled out the papers they gave us at the hospital (as we were still "together" then). I have copies of the paternity acknowledgement he signed. But my question is, will this affect a child support? We have a hearing soon and I'm not sure what to do about it.

I'm freaking out because I'm afraid that since his name isn't on there he will not have to pay any kind of support. :nope:
Could he of somehow took his name off later? Is it just a mistake on their part?
:confused::confused::confused::confused:

it will NOT effect child support. DSs dad is not on the BC and he paid support.

He could of just not turned in the paperwork to be on the BC but if you saw him do it, then its an error on the hospitals side. Call them or the Vital Statistics office and ask.

Should I take the copy of the paternity acknowledgement to the hearing, since it's 5 days away I don't think it'll be able to be changed by then..

It shouldn't effect child support at all.. well mason's dad isnt on his birth certificate either its just blank and hes going to be paying for him when iv sorted it all xx
