Birth control?

What type of BC are you using/going to use? I've got my PP appt. In 3 weeks, and I am attempting to decide what method we are going to use until we decode to TTC #2. Highly considering the Lactational Amenorrhea Method, if my body cooperates with that, as I am EBF. Any info on LAM or other useful BC methods would be appreciated. I need one that won't interfere with BF and that I can stop when I am ready to become pregnant again

I would recommend against Ortho tri-cyclen, as I conceived DS while on it!! Also, you can ovulate before AF comes back while breastfeeding, so that method is a little scary! Have you considered an IUD if you don't want hormonal birth control? I haven't used it but know of several moms who EBF and are really happy with it.

I am thinking of LAM but we know the risks and are okay if I get pregnant quickly as we had a lot of trouble conceiving this baby.

I have herd several bad things for the IUD. And I don't want something that I have to pay to have removed :/

Implanon was the best for me. Tho doesn't meet your criteria. I fell pregnant with my son before my first period after coming off the pill so I can vouche for the whole "fell pregnant before having a period"
