So I'd like to welcome Bishop 
I woke up to a contraction around 1:45 that was followed by a little discharge of water. I knew right away that it didn't feel right and thought it was my water leaking. Went to the washroom and there was only a tiny bit more that came out. So went back to bed. Then out came more so changed underwear put on a pad and went back to bed. The contractions quickly came to be too much to lay in bed for and went out to the living room. Walked for a bit. Then thought I'd go back to bed - oh and in the midst of this I did try to wake DH but he didn't wake up right away lol. Around 3:30 I went back to bed but before I could even get in had a strong contraction so got up and managed to wake upDH who woke up my brother. Spent the next 3 hours at home walking through the contractions then headed to the hospital. At around 9 they died down so at 11 or so they started the drip and I ended up with back labor because he was sunny side up so I took the epidural. This time not to bad took away the pain - just felt ALOT of pressure. When I was first checked around 10:30 I was at 3 cm when checked again just before 12 I was 8! Then again at 1ish I was a full 10 and started pushing.
His HR kept dropping so they were going to insert more fluid into my uterus, but when doc checked I was 10 cm. so I pushed instead then at 1:45 they decided to use the vacuum to get himout. That is the STRANGEST feeling EVER!! He was born at 1:48 weighing in at 7Lbs 13Ozs and 20 inches long. We are doing great. In fact I feel really good already been out and about He's sleeping with his daddy right now
