Bit of a random one!

I was thinking today about whether I'd ever go back on BC once I've had a baby!! (I'm thinking positive!)

I kind of came to the conclusion that if I am lucky and blessed enough to have one baby then any others that may come are surely a fantastic bonus?! Not sure how my husband will feel tho!


So, I know it's completely random, but what do you think you will do?

That's a really interesting question and I'd love to hear other people's opinions too!

Personally, I was adamant that I wouldn't go back on BCP after a baby(yet to be conceived but let's not mention the war!!) However, I have PCOS and FS said that women with it who aren't TTC should be on it because not having monthly cycles increases the risk of endometrial cancer..lot of research being done into it at the mo.

So, I honestly don't know what I'll do...don't have to worry about it for a while yet though!

My dh and I have discussed this at great length, and after over 2 years of TTC and now needing IVF we have said that neither of us would use any form of protection again, if it hasn't worked after activly trying for soooo long etc we don't see much chance of it happening after IVF!

I would stay off it. Though a friend of mine recently told me that it took her so long to get pregnant with her first and she thought she would struggle to have a second so she didn't bother and ended up falling pregnant six months after the first was born!

Isn't that just her luck!!! LOL I don't think I will return to bc. If it is meant for me to have more babies then I will if not well what's the point. I have been off bc for 3 years and for most of those 3 years I wasn't on anything ttc now I'm on 2nd round of clomid and praying for a bfp. I do have 1 son that is 7, from previous relationship and not trying. I have been married for almost 5 years and we all want a baby. My son wants to be a big brother so badly!!! But no bc for me not after all this!!

This is so funny! I actually had a dream about this!

I'm never in my life going back on the pill, unless after finally having a first baby, I miraculously become fertile myrtle, lol. If I do, then I'll start contraception after baby #4, haha.
