Bit of an odd question??

my MW says my babies still back to back,this was yesterday and also that he/she is not engaged and is free, but for the last 3-4days iv had the most horrible back pains!! sometimes really bad to the point i wanna cry, would havin a back to back baby cause labour in your back? (ignorance on all levels here !!)

also im leakin clear stuff in my undies, its very watery but it smells so strange :S not horrible, just weird :/ haha im sorry i dont know what to say?!

yes i'd say your back pain could well be caused by the baby being back to back! it's supposed to make for a painful back labour, too. using a gym ball or spending time on all fours cleaning floors etc should help baby to turn around. apparently you should try to spend 30 minutes a day on all fours to help. also try to correct your posture - don't slump when you sit, try to keep your back arched.

and as for the leaking, it sounds like the foul pregnancy discharge i've been having too, yuck! if you're leaking a lot though then you should mention it to your midwife x

Having the baby back to back, means the babe will come out face up instead of face down. Thats how my first child delivered. It didn't cause back labour for me.

yeah you will be more sore because babe is back to back, but as already suggested, get on all fours, you can also try using a birthing/gym ball which helps, instead of sitting on the sofa at night use your ball to give you better posture and bounce on a little. You have plenty of time to turn yet so dont worry about back to back labour at the mo x
