Bit worried, feeding less.

Yesterday my daughter only had 1 milk feed after her breakfast. I tried putting her on after dinner but she wasn't interested at all, lips firmly shut and pulling away from me so i thought right fair enough she must be full, she has done this on one or two occasions before so didn't think much of it. Bedtime came and normally she has a good guzzle - last night nothing! Again, lips were tightly shut and she just went to sleep peacefully. I was a bit upset as this is unlike her to go a whole day with only one milk feed. The OH thought maybe she had just had too much water during the day so she wasn't bothered for milk and that she'd be okay today. This morning we had our usual cuddle in bed and she did have some milk again, probably about 10 minutes worth. We got up and she had her breakfast cereal (no drink). I attempted to give her milk again as she normally does but again, as yesterday, nothing

I don't know think there's anythin wrong with her, she's not showing any classic signs. She has been a tiny bit whingy but her second tooth has just cut. I don't know if it's me? A milk problem? My boobs were pretty full this morning though. Maybe the OH was right and she did just drink too much water yesterday but then she missed a feed today I just don't know what to think

It might be just a one off like hubby said or maybe she's just growing up babe.....Hebe only has morning and night boobie these days. She's pretty much ditched everything during the day since she got on to 3 meals.

I dont think there is anything 'wrong'. She's fed on demand as she's just not demanding it ATM. That may well change back just as quickly.

I agree with Mervs mum, when my youngest son was 9 months he was down to only 2 feeds a day, one in the morning and one at bed time

Thanks ladies. I do think she is naturaly dropping down to 2 feeds tbh. some times she takes a lot after dinner sometimes barely anything. if we're out i tend not to offer unless she tells me and she usually goes fine without i just make sure she has plenty of juice during the day.

It does appear though that she is off colour and the milk refusal on saturady was just one of the first signs. yesterday she couldn't keep her eyes open and cried quite a bit, today she's the same, random spurts of crying. She's sleeping sat next to me on the sofa at the min bless her my poor little baba.
