Black and red wallpaper..

My feature wall is black and red, my other walls are just magnolia.

Is there any other colour i could use on the other walls? I want to redecorate completely but cant afford too right now so thought maybe giving the other walls a new colour would make things a big fresher, but i have no idea what colours would be safe and whatnot!

i would steer away from browns, creams, beiges etc. what about a really REALLY light green?

This may sound a little crazy but grey........... our feature wall is black and i wanted the other walls to be white but my hubby insisted on ash grey and it looks blimey great!

we have red,black and silver wallpaper in our bathroom on one wall. then the others are a dark slate grey. looks amazing!
