Bleeding after D and C

Hi ladies, i had my D and C don on friday and im still bleeding. Jus wondering has anyone had this and how long did it last. Before i had it done i was told it wouldnt last long. This is why we opt'd for this procedure so we could move on and start again.

I've no idea as I've never had one but would imagine it would last about the same length of time as a period? Sorry I'm not much use, sorry for your loss x

It's different for everyone hun. Mine was on and off for 7 weeks sometimes light, sometimes very heavy. For most people its normally a few days. It really does vary. Sorry for your loss. Call at the doctors if it lasts more than a week or so.

I bled for a few days after mine but as the others hav said everyone is different if u r concerned i would call the doc sorry for ur loss

So sorry yo had to go through this. I bled for about a week after but it was never very heavy. My cycle returned within 5 weeks...hope this helps

It's been two and a half weeks for me and I'm still spotting brown blood...about half a pantyliner full. I'm hoping it stops soon.

I bled like a light period for about 4-5 days then spotted pale brown discharge for about 7 days after that. I suppose it's different for everyone

I bled on and off for about 12 days. It would slow to spotting then start up again. It could take at least a week or longer, hopefully not too long for you x

Thanks for your input ladies, and sorry you all had to go thru this as well. mine starts and stops 2. feels like its been going on forever now, and is only thing i can think about. Cant wait until is all over. thanks again.xx

I really didn't bleed at all, but as others have pointed out, it is different for everyone.
