I had a bright red heavy bleed on Thursday accompanied with severe cramping, which lasted roughly about 12 hours, at which point the bleeding had slowed down to spotting and only showed when wiping. The cramps have stopped, but I feel very achey, almost like I've pulled a muscle if that makes sense?

The hospital wouldn't see me because I'm under 16 weeks, unless I started gushing or I was referred. I called my midwife, she was able to refer me to the EPU but they couldn't fit me in until Monday at 3pm (tomorrow).

Has anyone else been through this and baby been ok? After having a MMC in October '15, I'm incredibly anxious about going to the scan and it being another MMC. I had an early scan at the beginning of January due to a previous ectopic and my MMC, and everything was fine (dates in ticker are going by my dates, I'm slightly behind going by early scan) and we saw a strong heartbeat. I'm trying to stay positive, but it's so hard.

Hi there I had a bright red bleed at 10 weeks and was in a lot of pain also was sore for a few days after that I went to a and e and had a scan baby was fine they found no reason for my bleeding I'm now 18 weeks and baby doing well so yes I have some experience in this it's not always bad news hope everything turns out fine for you and baby x

I went to the scan, and our little one has grown their wings. Absolutely devastated, and having back to back MMC so close together is making the pain so much worse

I'm booked in for a D&C this Friday, and I've got to have a follow up appointment with my midwife apparently.

I feel so lost and numb, why is my body failing at doing what it is supposed to do? I now have three little angels looking down on us, each one incredibly wanted, missed and loved.

Ooh honey I'm so very sorry to read this and so sorry for your loss lots of hugs and love take care of yourself xxx

Devastated for you. It's not your fault, you didn't do anything wrong. It's usually something wasn't developing right and baby would never have survived. It's very unfortunate that this has happened three times for you now but don't give up hope, you will get your rainbow baby in time. I know it's hard now but you will be ok xx
