Bleeding between periods...

While I was on holiday I had a period. It started before I left and went on for another four days while I was there. After a week I started bleeding again, but it wasn't as heavy as a period. It also had little clots in it and iv never experienced that before. I was kind of freaked out. That went on for about three days but only if I pushed down (soz tmi). I also have abnormal cells so I don't know if that had something to do with it. Iv booked an appointment with the doctor for Thursday but im still worried. Does anyone know what could be causing this? x

There's probably a few possible causes, my advice would be not to google, try not to worry too much and just get to your doctor's appointment. I have had some bleeding after sex which isn't like yours and turned out to be a uterine polyp, nothing too serious just waiting for hosital appointment to have it removed.
