Bleeding for 2 days now, can anyone give any advice?!

hello everyone, im new to this site but was just wondering if anyone on here has had any similar experience to what is happening to me at the moment...

im 6 and a half week pregnant and have been experiening bleeding for 2 days now, the bleeding isnt what id call heavy (less than a normal period) but ranges between bright red one minute and watery pink/orange the next (sorry for lots of info!) I have only had one brief spell of cramps that lasted for aprox half hour but didnt hurt that much tbh...

i havent passed any blood clots i dont think? but have had one i can only describe as string in my blood once?

i have a scan at the epu in the next couple of days but was jst wondering if anyone had experienced a similar thing during their pregnancy?

Hi hun. I have had 4 pregnancies, and in 3 I had some degree of bleeding before 12wks. All of those pregnancies were fine and resulted in healthy babies.

With my first I had thick, bright red bleeding for two days which faded to dark brown and stopped after a week. I lost all my pregnancy symptoms overnight, but they returned a day later. My cervix was closed, and the 6wk scan showed a strong heartbeat - Harry is now 8

With the twins, I had a gush of bright red, fresh blood at eleven weeks which trailed off to brown for a few weeks. I also lost mucousy, stringy brown discharge for a few weeks. Those babies are now healthy 10 month olds.

Bleeding is very common in pregnancy my sweet. It can indicate miscarriage, but often it doesn't. If it continues for several days, the cramps become severe and regular and no heartbeat is seen, then the risk of mc is higher. If not then it is just on eof those things, and is termed a "threatened mc".

The scan will tell you for sure. In the meantime, don't assume the worst. Take care and let us know how you get on xxx

my 2 lasy pregnancies had bleeding early on, with this preg quite bad at 10-11 weeks so hang in there all will prob be ok!
