bleeding, help! advice please

hey everyone,
im absolutly distraught right now trying to right this....
so earlier i got cramps about 10am, thought it was fine cuz i have another urine infection which is making me have pain and so off me and OH go to a spa and then about 2pm i start bleeding fresh bright red blood :'( luckily we were near a big hospital so went there and luckily got scanned aswel. a new doctor just came one who was able to scan and a lady before us had a apt booked for thurs bcuz she had bleeding!
the doctor did a speculum and it was so painful and when it came out it was covered in blood and then i just broke down.
so then got the baby looked fine, heartbeat, and had grown 1cm since my private scan on thurs. cervix was closed on the speculum aswel.
got home and just been to the loo and lots of blood making me wipe my moo like 5times.
im just so upset, i know ive seen that beanie is okay but the bleeding is sooo worrying.
please anyone whos had bleeding tell me there experiences of it.
ps im lucky bcuz my dating scan is on tuesday so i havnt got long to check beanie is okay.

Hey darling,

I posted on your other thread, but closed cervix and heartbeat are excellent signs. Did you have sex last night, or constipation? Both can irritate the cervix (as would the internal) and cause bleeding. Fingers crossed it stops really soon darling but bleeding doesn't always mean a problem. Loads of women bleed and have totally healthy babies

I totally know what you are going through since wednesday night i have had bleeding but its been on and off and only appears when wiping sometimes fresh blood and othertimes looks like old blood. I thought it had stopped yesterday but it started again so i finally plucked up the courage to go to a&e and they sent me to gynaecology.
They did tests on my samples of urine and said i had lucozites in my urine and a trace of blood so i thought possible infection?
They then did the speculum and i agree totally painful a bit of blood came out on mines too. My cervix was closed too
They then did another ultrasound where they seen what they think it 2 sacs in my womb. I am experiencing some blood upon wiping today and its driving me insane not knowing where its coming from.
I have another scan on friday so feels like ages to wait.
I hope all's well for us both but i did hear from EPAC that 1 in 3 pregnancys occur some bleeding.

i have had bleeding too, about 6 or so times since 6 weeks. only after bowel movement tho so i think it might irritate my cervix and cause a very slight bit of blood loss. the 1st 3 times i went and got scanned and all was fine, my last scan was wednesday last week and all looked perfect however i am keeping my fingers tightly crossed for my 12 week scan on friday eeekkk xxxx

again im in tears, i had no more bleeding today until just now when i had a poo and loadsa blood came out!!!
i just cant believe this could be happening again :'( its not fair.....
dating scan 2moro and i just wish it was now, i just want to know whats going on.

oh hun, try not to worry yourself too much? how much is alot to you?

like red staining on tissue when u wipe like it's mixed with cm? thats what i get after most bowel movements now

or red with clots? or heavy red blood loss?

the reason i asked as i have had red on the tissue when wiping and sometimes it takes 3 wipes for it to go and i had a scan just last week and all was fine. it'a been happening since about 6 weeks
it doesn't always mean the worst, what times ur scan xxx

yer it was red blood mixed with cm/gooey stuff, looked like a show sort of! keep running to the loo and no more has come out. even though i had the scan yesterday i dont feel reasured at all, im so scared about 2moro, the scan is at 4.20pm.

they said cervix was closed but that was it....when they speculum came out it was covered in blood and it hurt soo much!

Sounds like you have got a cervical erosion too me, especially considering cervix is closed. And they do say you mite have some bleeding after speculum exams. I bled most of the way through my last pregnancy and now i have a healthy 21 month old , cheeky but healthy, lol. And im bleeding through this one too, please try not too worry as it coulod be something of nothing

they cancelled my scan and didnt even let me know! i now have to go back 2moro but OH cant even come as we both took time off work for the scan today so if its not good news im all by myself! :'( im so upset and so angry!
