Bleeding *Scan&UPDATE* Advice please. *UPDATE AGAIN*

I'm bleeding, earlier it was brown and clumpy, now its getting redder.
I'm not sure what to do, i'm not cramping or anything.
Advice please :[ x

brown discharge is quite common hun, i had this at around 7/8weeks with this baby. However i didnt with my other two.
Apparently its just your body geting rid of surplus old blood from your old periods.
If its getting re though i would contact midwife for advice just to be on the safe side.

brown blood is normal, I had that around 8 weeks, but if you are worried, contact your OB or midwife.

ive had brown blood around 8ish 9 ish weeks i think, i went to a&e and they booked me in for a scan and eerything was fine there was a bleed but it was adjeacent to the sac so there was nothing really to worry about, they just told me to rest and it would absorb it self and it did by my 12 week scan. xx

Bleeding is a scary thing in pregnancy, although it is common in pregnancy, If it proceeds I would defiantly get checked out to be safe.

I had some brownish spotting in early pregnancy, but the best thing to do is just give your MW a call & see if she recommends getting it checked out it's very common but it's always better to put your mind at ease x

Went down to A&E who looked me over and said I was healthy and booked me for a scan and bloods today. The urine test was positive. When I went got the external scan they couldn't see anything saying it was probobly too early so they did and internal and couldnt see anything again saying it was too early. So they opted for the bloodwork and they have just came back, they were 168. I've too go in on Thursday for bloods again to check if it is rising or decreasing.

But I dunno, I mean I got a faint positive a just over a week ago.
Surely they should have seen something by now?

They bleeding never actually went on to my knickers it was just inside if you get what I mean. I never had to use a pad or tampon.

Girls I need advice.. ?

It ould have just been a small implantation bleed. I didn't bleed at first but it is very normal. Its still very early on! I know my advise could be better but just keep positive and wait for your bloods. Hope you are ok

I considered that possibility however if thats so, how did I get a positive over a week ago. As I came to believe it is only possible to get a positive bloodwork from implantation and 10-14days after for a HPT x

Ermm im not sure im no expert at all with any of this stuff lol, buttt.. if it was brown blood this means its 'old' blood? Maybe its just taken a while or something i dunno lol.

When i had my 12 week scan, apparently i'd had a small bleed around the sac or something, but i never actually bled iykwim. They told me that this was nothing to worry about and that i could get a small bleed but blood is normal in the first tri and if i wanted to i could abstain and take it easy but this was not a must. I didn't and bubs is here and healthy.

Hope everything is ok with your lil bean and try not to worry (easier said than done), but a positive mental attitude is helpful in these situations.

Brown blood is always old blood, it oxidizes from sitting there.

As long as your doctor's don't seem concerned, I'd try not to worry hon. Your body is just trying to clear some junk out!

I will say do not put in a tampon! It's been known to cause complications with pregnancy.

It turned red for a couple of hours but it was inside me. Not actually on my knickers, I had no need to use a tampon or pad.
The person I spoke with said either its to early to tell or i'm gonna miscarrige.
I'm not even bleeding anymore.. not clots & it was almost dilute.
My last period was 8 weeks ago.

i would say that you ovulated late and you are not as far on as you think.

I agree with libbymarks. You probably ovulated later then you think and though you may have skipped your period, you could in all reality only be maybe 4 or 5 weeks which is entirely possible. try not to worry and keep us posted

I also bled early on, red blood, had a scan thought and all was fine.

I also OVd 'd later than I thought, so try not to worry. x

I know this is awful but i would say you aren't as far a long as 8 weeks or things aren't looking good

You would definately see a baby and heartbeat on an internal scan at 8 weeks.

I had something very similar with my first pregnancy. It didn't end well but my mother also had it with her last pregnancy, which was me and here i am. So its just a waiting game. And a very cruel one. Good luck i hope it all turns out ok.
