Bleeding :(

Ive just started bleeding...so scared. Its just a little bit and it was more brown than red but ive got a bad feeling about this. I had no bleeding at all with my partial molar.

Has this happened to anyone and its turned out to be ok?

Sorry I can't answer your question, but just wanted to say I hope everything is ok. Someone told me you can get something called decidual bleeding in early pregnancy, which doesn't harm the baby.

Brown spotting is not always bad.

I've had several incidents of brown spotting, some pink spotting and worst of all, some red spotting. How terrifying...

However, I've had 3 scans and LO is perfect so far, even growing a bit big for its age! No sign of the cause. I know lots of other women have suffered this worrying symptom.

A couple things - pregnancy makes your cervix sensitive. So sex, pelvic exams and anything else can cause bleeding. Also, implantation bleeding can happen as late as 10 weeks (i guess it takes some time to work its way out?). Also, don't let brown blood scare you too much - brown blood = old blood.

Please see your doctor if you're worried!

There are lots of ladies on here who have proved that it isn't always a bad thing.

do get to your mw and get referred to EPU as only a scan can give you a clear indication and hopefully the piece of mind you need.

Thanks ladies. Its turned to pink spotting now and ive started with some cramping.

I guess ill just wait and see if it gets any better or worse over night.

Ive already got an appointment for an early scan on wed so i guess ill wait for that if the bleeding stops...im fearing the worst tho.

I have bled twice this pregnancy... and im now at 16weeks!!!

Well...*touch wood* the bleeding seemed to stop overnight. Ive just tried to rest today and so far the bleeding has stayed away and i havent really had any more cramps so trying really hard to be positive. I did a clearblue digi this morning and it said pregnant 3+ weeks so hopefully thats a good sign too.

Im just gona have to keep my fingers crossed til my scan on wed - it seems like a lifetime away!

I am sorry that you've been through this... glad it's stopped and I hope that the scan is a reassurance on Wednesday. Take it easy and like people say it happens alot and doesnt always mean something bad is going to happen
