Blighted ovum?

I was rushed to ER Xmas night due to vomiting 14x. My blood pressure was very high then dropped dramatically. I also got a fever they dunno why and I have a subchorionic hematoma. I'm 6+5weeks and the sac is empty. They wanna redo my blood test Saturday but the US has to be repeated. The doc said it's possible it's a blighted ovum. My levels are 56000 which is where I should be so why isn't my baby there

Goodness how scary. I don’t have any experience with this, but I know it can be hard to see baby early on

I am sorry! This isn't going to be what you are hoping to read but in all honesty it doesn't sound good. I believe a heart beat normally shows up around 10,000 HCG but maybe I am wrong. I hope you get better news at the next US! Big hugs to you!

I hope everything turned out ok! With my blighted ovum my hcg doubled, but just barely. My hcg was a lot lower than it normally is during pregnancy. I also didn't have my usual symptoms. They did tell me the hcg could be normal and be a blighted ovum, but that if it was very high that could mean molar pregnancy. There was only a sac on every ultrasound up to 9 weeks.
