Hi all,
So i'm wondering if any of you have had this...I miscarried at 9 weeks (fetal age 7 1/2 weeks) back in March. Since then i've noticed i have a pretty bloated stomach, like it looks like i'm pregnant. To the point where someone actually asked me!!! ( i know...like who does that!!!)
I never had a stomach really before and i'm wondering if anyone else had this happen? I'm confused because i wasnt really far enough along to be showing yet...
thanks!

I had a miscarriage that I finished bleeding from last week and I am still bloated. I have heard that the bloat is caused by a sudden drop in progesterone and will subside eventually. Let's hope so anyway!

Sure do hope so! I was only 6 weeks when I mc and now my means barley fit. Its so annoying.

Thank you both and i'm sorry for your losses. Yesterday a friend of mine told me that even though i wasnt so far along, that the muscles around the stomach prepare for the baby, so they stretched a bit...probably causing this appearance. hopefully will go down a bit soon!

I'm not too sure about that. With my dd I had huge bloat in my first tri. I looked pregnant at 9 weeks. But then at 13 weeks it all disappeared and tummy was totally flat until 17 weeks when I started to get a proper non bloat bump! So I really think its more hormonal rather than the change is muscles and ligaments. Also I put on a stone in weight in my first tri with my daughter, all those crazy hormones again!
