I feel like i have a cold but i dont its like just a blocked noes and its really annoying me. all the over counter meds say do not take when pregnant,

I was wondering if anyone else had this problem and if so what do you take???

xx

I had this for a couple of weeks and tbh i dont think there is anything you can do to stop it. Maybe some sniffy oil? :flower:

i don't know what that could be, have you got hayfever? i take a nasal spray for when i get my blocked nose from hayfever.

the other day i had a cold though and it went away in 3 days because i ate oranges and lemons :)

I have had my nose blocked the most of the time but bothing much u can do :(

mine is really bad too, not much to be done I'm afraid! Hope it goes away for you soon!

thanks girl. at least im not the only one. Its the only symptom i have that really annoys me cause i cant breath when i put my head down to sleep :(

Mines been blocked for weeks now.
Think it's normal for this time of year, I would try a nasal spray maybe. xx

Try filling the sink with steaming hot water and standing/sitting with your face over it; putting a towel over the back of your head to keep the steam just near your face is also a good idea; it helps clear it up. If that fails you can always cook something with curry i it (though dont eat it!) and smell the curry :)

Why shouldn't she eat it?

It's perfectly safe to eat curry in pregnancy. x

Well I personally would avoid heartburn the best way I can; but each to their own :D

Unfortunately Stuffy nose/Blocked nose is common in pregnancy something to do with hormone changes .I agree with the steamy water method and air humidifier

you can take some cough drops, just not the anti-inflammatory ones. I try to take one only when I'm desperate but pre-pregnancy I always had one when my throat was sore. I also stocked up on popsicles :flower:

I decided on a hot bubble bath with that vix stuff in.......It worked for a good few hours :) i dont think having a bath several times a day will please my mum when she gets the bills through though
