Hello been trying properly 6 months no luck.
I'm 31
Went to doctors took blood and I rang up 4 weeks ago and all normal.
Went in yesterday and she says well the progesterone was slightly high..but she didn't explain what problems that could mean?
The bloods were taken 14 days before my period arrived so I was probably nearly ovulating or just ovulated because not long after my pms symptoms turned up (sore boobs etc)
She said well you might have PCOS ..I asked why and she said it was a thought then went on to say but the other two blood tests that support PCOS were normal.
My periods are normally 28-33 days last month it was all over the place (I am really really stressed )
I don't understand how my blood tests can be Norma but progesterone slightly high but normal ??
I rang back to the doctors but receptionist wouldn't tell me my progesterone level as she said I wouldn't understand it and it was pointless ..my doctor also refused.
She's sending me for a ultrasound to check on my ovaries etc
Is the slightly high progesterone bad?
I thought your progesterone changed through the month..
She didn't ask when my last period was either??
