Blood test results?!

I had an elevated white blood count come back when they did my glucose screening a week ago. The doctor was concerned at first, but realized that it was the same with my last pregnancy. So...not sure if that helps at all, but it's possible it's just the pregnancy making your cell counts go up or down a bit.

To be honest, unless you put the actual results in numbers it would be difficult to interpret them. But its obviously worrying you, so you can ask them to explain what exactly they mean for your reassurence. :)

However, Elevated CRP and White blood cells could be a sign of infection but naturally WCC do raise in pregnancy. The results sheet that is printed off will say that it is elevated too even though for pregnacy the number may be normal. :) When a result sheet is in front of you there is a caption on the right of the sheet with the normal parameters, HOWEVER, these parameters are for normal adults, but in pregnancy certain elevations etc may be normal. :)
