Well last night i went for a wee and when i wiped (tmi) they was a tiny gooish blob with streaks of blood in it was very small, now i know this is probably my show but im having no other symptoms of labour, so i automatically thought id leave it until something else decides to happen seeing as im having a c-section on wednesday:thumbup:

Now we told my OHs mum & shes gone and made me an appointment at the hospital to be checked over  Im SOOOO angry about this as she didnt even ask me she just went and made the appointment!:growlmad::nope:

Is this me under reacting or her over reacting?:dohh:

a bloody show usually means labour within the next 48hrs!!!!

If you need to have a c-sect for a reason then i think its a good idea you are checked out hun.

if you have a booked c section then they will need to check you incase labour starts early as the c section will have to turn into an emergency one instead of an elective one etc etc

if you were not having the c section then she would def be overreacting lol

Could it only be part of my show tho, as it was only really small? I was expecting it to be bigger:haha:

my show wasn't very big. it was just this bit of mucus when i wiped. but if you know its a show then its a show.

with my first pregnancy i was sat around with my nct chums having a coffee discussing who had has any symptoms etc etc. One of the girls had has no symptoms but thought she had had a show the night before. she thought it would be ages until anything happened and then she had her baby later that day!

My friend had a bloody show at 38 weeks and was induced at nearly 42 weeks it doesnt always mean its imminent.

That's odd she'd make an appointment for you?? Weird. Sounds like your show, hopefully things kick in gear quickly now!

Yeah i dont think i will go to the appointment unless im having more symptoms of labour tbh....the c-section is because baby is breech but the consultant wanted me to have a natural labour anyway lol so i think im gonna wait it out:thumbup:

in this case i'd definately wait it out! i thought the c section was for something important but if the baby is breech it wont matter if you go into labour as a you can have a normal birrth xx
