Blue dye test (Sainsbury's). Evap or BFP?

Hi ladies,

Just after some thoughts. Been getting super faint lines showing up with these tests - a really convincing one last night, then faint ones, till tonight. Just got the best yet.

First pic was taken at 5 minutes to prove I wasn't going crazy. It was so super faint, but I swore I could see the line. Tweaked it to prove it. Second picture is slightly tweaked and taken at 10 minutes or so. Third picture taken probably around 15 minutes, but isn't tweaked at all and you can see the line.

So I think they're false lines as I know these cheap blue dyes are notorious for fake lines and evaps and my proper tests this morning were so blank.

What do you guys think?

Blue dyes have never given me a false read, even with such faint lines. I'm going with BFP

Blue dye showed fir me with dd before frer..looks bfp

Blue dyes gave me so many false positives in the past, I would get a red dye just to be sure! I definitely see that line though!!! Looks pretty promising!

That looks positive but I have had so many false bfps with blue dyes. Get a FRER and test again

I've never had any issues with blue dye looks like bfp!

Too close to call. Maybe wait a day or two and retest or get pink dye test. Good luck xx

Well it was clearly just a rubbish false positive; can't call it an evap seeing as it showed up in the time limit. Clearblue plus showed completely blank negative today on 12dpo. Definitely out.

Never ever using this type again. They may be cheap and convenient at my local supermarket (only tests they sell), but they are so unreliable I am really surprised they are allowed to market them as pregnancy tests as they always give lines even when not-pregnant.

Pretty bummed out I dared to get my hopes up for even a second.

Don't be disheartened. I got a bfp on blue dye cheap tests before this pregnancy. Went to confirm with clearblue and nothing get frer! That looks positive to me x
