I've tried googling this but all the answers relate to processed jelly and the sugar content. I'm really interested if the consistency is ok. I have some strawberries and blueberries that I was going to puree with some banana (like a smoothie) and set with gelatin so she can pick them up. Do you think this would be ok?

There's no consistency you can't give a BLW baby :D It might just be easier to give her strawberries and blueberries though, unless you normally eat them like that?

I'm sure it'd be fine and I think that's a really interesting idea! I'm sure your LO will have lots of fun mushing it up haha!

The problem is I froze them when I bought them as we had too many and they've defrosted a bit mushy so not so nice for just eating. Also I have to admit I thought that it would be fun and that I wanted to eat some!

it will be fine, jelly tends to melt in your mouth anyway & im sure LO will mush it up quite a bit before eating anyway  x

Sounds great fun then! I freeze extra strawberries too but I tend just to use them for milkshakes and smoothies or for strawberry sauce :)

Frozen berries are also great in muffins. My daughter loves blackberry and blueberry muffins and with the added fruit, you can leave out of the sugar.
