Well i started weaning a week ago and I try to give Lincoln some water afterwards, but he just like to bite the top of the jar:dohh:
The water just run down his face to his neck and his top gets soaking wet:dohh:
Then he wants my milk ,lol and i would feed him for 2-3 minutes
What do you do?

I would top him off with breastmilk, it's better for him, has nutrients you know

my doc said to defnately offer b-milk after each feed. nutrients, calories plus its 70% water.

i offer water during the meal but like you it goes down his chin. he'll learn one day!

Baby doesn't need water at the moment as you're breastfeeding babe. I just used to give mine a cup with a tiny bit of cooled, pre-boiled water in the bottom so they could get used to the cup in preparation for when they did need it. They tend just to play with the cup and shake the water about but hey ho....water dries:rofl:
