BnB Members Side Effects on Clomid

Hey Ladies

I thought, after not actually finding something similar myself, that it might be a good idea to keep a list for ease of reference to others asking the same question, regarding what side effects everyone is having / has had whilst on Clomid.

I'm not meaning the ones it states on the packet, I'm meaning the actual way you feel whilst taking the drug.

I was thinking, it might be a good idea to just keep a running list, in case the post lasts a while, then the last post on the thread will contain the ongoing list.

So, if you'd like to share with others the side effects you have experienced on Clomid, please copy and past my list into your reply and add your experiences to it:-

- Hot and Cold Flushes
- Light headedness
- Blurry eyes (on and off)
- PMT like mood swings, but not as Grrrr (sorry, didn't know any other way to describe that)
- Like I just want to lie in my bed and cuddle up

Glad to see I'm not the only one!

Our puppy ate my purse this morning and after giving her a strict telling off, I ended up on the floor in tears hugging her!!!

Isn't it just terrible how clomid affects us!

It sure is - this is my first cycle - I'm hoping for a miracle first time round now as I don't think I can handle this for three months or more!!!

Do the symptoms last all month or do they go away when you stop taking it?

I don't even know if I'll be able to drive home tonight to be honest, sitting looking at my screen and things are flashing everywhere!!!

Well I had a miracle on my first cycle...it sadly ended in a mc but it can and does work first time hun... so FX.

The symptoms usually go away once you finish taking the tablets, how much longer have you got on them? I'm sure you will be fine.

Sorry for your loss dizzikel but thanks for your hope.

We miraculously managed to create our little Angel, Douglas which was a miracle given I apparently don't ovulate, but we lost him on 23rd July too x

So, fx, this time round, don't know if I could cope again!!??

Right, just adding to this 'orrible list of side effects:-

- Hot and Cold Flushes
- Light headedness

- Unable to sleep for weird flashy dreams and bursts of sweat

Hiya, mine havn't been that bad at all.... as follows:

Very vivid dreams, every night, through my whole cycle.

General irritability & grouchiness (worse when taking the tablets)

Feeling tearful (until ovulation)

Hot flushes (only when I was taking the tablets)

Ovulation pain much worse than usual

Bloating

Tiredness (probably due to the bloating!)

I've got another 6 days of this cycle to go though, so I'll update if I get anything else! x

I don't care how bad the pain is in ovulation, if I get there, I'll welcome it with open arms, bring it on
