My cycles have slowly been getting longer since the summer, my last cycle was 36 days when they are usually 29-30 days. Anyway I noticed on my fertility app graphs that I weighed 2-3kg more when I was having 'normal' cycles. Measured my body fat today and it's only 21.9%! It would seem that my body needs closer to 25% for my hormones to be balanced properly. Going to try slowly putting a couple of kg back on and fingers crossed that will settle my cycles down again before resorting to agnus castus etc. Sorry for the rambling, it just didn't really occur to me properly until one of my friends I don't see often commented on my weight the instant I saw her the other day and I got into size 8 jeans comfortably in Tesco on Saturday. Thought it might help someone with borderline long cycles to know
Edit to add: I don't look "underfat" (apparently the technical term) at all which is why this has been a surprise, I do have a fair amount of muscle from aerial training which I guess automatically makes my fat % lower
