whatmake do you use and why?

I have Avent at the moment but she is guzzling it down i dont know if the teat is too big for her, even altho its newborn teats!!

Connor would only use Mam with the orthodontic teats and he still will only use these bottles

I started on Tommee Tippee CTN bottles with Chloe the teats used to collapse in on themselves and she had terrible colic, so I changed to Dr Browns on recomendation and loved them, the change was amazing! I used them this time for Charlotte aswell and had no wind/colic issues at all x

Doctor Browns are brilliant :) My LO had reflux really badly. The Dr Browns helped a little bit, but they really stopped her getting loads of wind (when she burped she was always sick)

I use the Anti-colicTommee Tipee ones. Not had any prblems with them so far. I breastfed for just over a month then swapped to these. Havent looked back since xxx

we use TT when i tried him on others bottles once hes was gagging cos teat was to big xx

we use tommee tippee, have tried all their teats and settled on number 2 teats and anti colic bottles! we have spent a fortune findin the right teats and bottles (anti colic work better then normal ones!) and have finally cracked it!

maddi loved the MAM's bottles and these are the ones we use. started with the anti-colic bottles, the teats seem fab and i'd highly recommend them :D

I started with Tommee Tippee CTN but changed to MAM cos he kept pushing the teats in with his tongue

Closer to Nature for us - never had a problem with them, using size 2 teats now x

Tommee Tippee CTN for us, the anti colic vent ones, we started with Avent but it was taking her hours to drink a bottle, switched to these and she drank much faster!

Im using tommee tippee closer to nature bottles with size one teats....but he's really windy all the time and the teat keeps collapsing in on itself also find that because the teat is so wide that when there isnt much milk left in the bottle that its really difficult and uncomfortable on my shoulder trying to keep the teat filled with milk and not let any air into it!

Knowing me ...il end up changing them! Il keep an eye on this thread wanna hear other peoples's opinions on bottles the dr browns ones sound good! But dont want to have to change the bottle warmer, steriliser etc or do you not have to?

Think it depends, i know the TT ones wouldnt fit in my avent bottle warmer for example... so maybe.. i doubt they would fit int eh avent steam steriliser i have either, they prob do all go together which is a huge hassle if you change, but then i have no idea if you NEED to change everything...guess it depends what from and to??

Im gonna stick with avent just now, just getting a handle on how it all works and shes fine so no point in changing... if she develops colic tho i think the dr brown or mam ones have heard a lot of good about them?!?

Nieve had Boots anti colic bottles, but the big wide ones. Never had any problems. Now she has normal Tesco ones with silicone teats, but she only has them at bed and morning x

I started on TT and changed to Dr Browns. Have you got the electric bottle warmer? I have this and still use the dr browns in them fine. The only insulated bottle bag i've found that fits them is the Avent one. You can use the same steriliser but I could only get 3 dr browns in it, when i changed i got the dr browns one and it came with 2 bottles, its much easier to use because it has room for all the extra bits

I started with TT CTN, and my LO had awful problems with wind. I tried Breastflow when I was still thinking of combining with BF, but she took AGES to get milk out of them, even with stage 2 teats, and got really frustrated when feeding. Still had really bad wind as well.

We then switched to Dr Browns, and have never looked back! She is no longer a nightmare to wind, and feeding time is much better for all of us :)

I have the TT Steam Steriliser, and I can fit 6 bottles in it at a push, though it's easier to do 5 :)

Ava is on Playtex Drop-In bottles. I have her on this because it is easier to clean the bottles and it gets ALL the air out of the bottle which means I have a happy non-gassy baby. :happydance:

The only bad part about these bottles is their tall (hold 8-10 oz but you can get 4 oz sized bottles and they fit fine but Ava is on 6 oz so I had to switch to the bigger sized ones that hold more) and I have to put them on their sides when I put them in my bottle sterilizer but they are still sterilized because they have open slits on the sides.

I am going to post a piccie up of what the bottle looks like.

We tried TT CTN bottles at first but Sam just didnt like them and wouldnt take his milk so when i was in asda one day i seen an Avent starter pack for £5 so i got it and tried him with them and havent looked back.

Bryson uses Playtex Ventaire Advanced bottles. But I cheated and am using stage 2 Dr. Brown's nipples because he likes them better.
