Bottle feeding help!

What bottles do you use?

I desperatly want evie to take a bottle of expressed breast milk but she HATES bottles!!

She will either just cry, dribble the milk out or just hold the teat In her mouth and fuss or do nothing!

I've tried feeding her, DH has tried without me in the room but with no avail

please please help - what are we doing wrong?

What brand are you using now? Just wondering what kind of teat she doesn't like. Are you using a level 1 teat? What temp are you giving it at? IME some babies prefer bottles to be a little warmer than you might expect.

Using tommee tippee got level 1 and vari flow and she hates both

I express and give it at room temp do you think that's too cold for her then?

Well I think you've got nothing to lose by trying it a bit warmer. You could try body temp, or even a bit warmer than that. My LO has been FF from quite early, but he went through a phase of liking his bottles bordering on too hot, so you never know!

Try the mam bottles and teats. My little one was so fussy with Avent and Tommy tippee but took to these no probs.. I think the shape of the teats are more comfortable for them and easier for them to grip, plus theyre nice and soft

i have got some soft silicone tommeee tippeee nuby bottles and have always thought they would be just fab for bf babies. they are soft so you can squeeze a wee bit out, the teats are wide and dimpled just like a boobie

we had the same problem with our LO and it was driving us mad. she refused a bottle for weeks. I found the following article really useful. we followed it and she now takes a bottle everyday. we uses tommy tippee CTN. Hope it helps

Emm was the same at first, but it turned out that she just hated TT CTN bottles! Dr. Browns were an instant hit though! I warmed the milk up to body temperature too.

It can take a bit of (expensive) trial and error unfortunately.
