Any tips? She took the bottle sometime between her 1-3rd week but now she won't take it at all! I'm a stay at home mom so I have time. I just want to be able to have some time to myself.

Cant believe it's already been 6 weeks. And she's still in NB clothes!

She latches on for a little and then releases her latch and starts crying hysterically. I've tried diff bottles. Expressing fresh milk on the nipple before. Giving it to her on a spoon(found that in Google) nothings working

I would wait until she's a bit older. At 6 weeks she's right in growth spurt territory and it would be a tricky time anyway.

If you definitely want lo to take a bottle hen I would carry on now. IME it gets harder as thy get older to accept a bottle. You don't have to harm your supply, start with small amounts just so they get used to sucking from a teat. Keep it to 1 a day. Minimal bf disruption because pp is right, prime growth spurt territory etc. to get lo to take it you might need to try different teats. NUK Latex ones are the only ones my dd would take and initially only her dad could do it with me out of the room. They can smell you and will prefer the boob to the bottle. I used to do one bottle at bed time then fb for comfort/additional

My older two were a nightmare with this, I wondered how I would ever return to work! In the end we got there at about five months through sheer perseverance. We offered a bottle every day and my DH had to do it at first as PP said. They would only take breastflow bottles for ages. Also make sure you offer it when they are not too hungry otherwise they get frustrated. This time my DD has taken a bottle from four weeks so I think the earlier you start the better. Having said that she will probably refuse next time I offer her one!

I'm a sahm too so only breastfed and very rarely gave a bottle. I can say that he never once took a bottle from me. He would however take them from my mom of husband. Try having someone else give it other than you

I second what everyone else has said, try getting someone else to give it.
My lo takes a bottle from me if he's super hungry but if not he just fusses and hunts for boobie.

i would second the nuk latex or MAM. I also used medela calma teats at a young age.

I would agree it might be an awkward time at 6 weeks though.
