Bottle warmer Q

My DS is waking up quite often during the night and often won't settle without a feed.
When he used to have night feeds I would leave him with his dad whilst I went downstairs to make up his bottle, but now his dad works away so it would mean I have to take him downstairs with me in the night. He wants to touch everything and pick up everything so can't make a bottle holding him and if I put him down he will scream.
So my Q is can i boil some water and put it in a bottle and take it up with me at night with the formula in the formula dispenser and then warm up the water when needed in the bottle warmer and then add the formula?

Yes it makes sense lol..and yehh i think you can i dont see what's wrong as the water is pre-boiled water...alot of people have different ways of making up thier babies bottle's and this is something i have heard of before and i don't think anything is wrong with it

When i make up my son's milk in the night i boil the water just before bed then when it's time for his feed i re-heat the kettle but then stop it at the temperature that is ok for him to drink because the water has already been boiled, and my LO is fine so i'm sure everyone has their "very own" way

you can but my making the bottles that way the milk powder is not sterilised, therefore not recommended, however many people here seem to do it x

hi one thing my friend does it put the pre boiled water in a flask so it stays nice and warm and she makes the milk up in the night. but as said above the milk isnt then sterile. I make the feeds in advance and then warm using water in a plastic jug, it is warm in 5 min.
plastic not glass as the glass looses the heat whereas plastic keeps it in.
