I'd like to wean my son off his bottle to use a sippy cup but he just won't drink milk from a cup. Water no problem but milk he expects it in a bottle. I need help! How do I transition him!

Tnx!!

Just keep trying every so often. You may also want to try different cups as well. We had no luck until later with a sippy cup, but our daughter would take milk from a straw cup from 13 months. At 11 months, she absolutely refused, turned bright red and screamed as soon as the cup got near her. It was horrible! We left if for a bit and would just try again every few weeks. Finally one morning at 13 months, I brought her milk to her in the straw cup while she was playing in the morning after getting up. She took it and drank the whole thing like it was no big deal. We dropped the daytime bottles for the cup from then and kept her bedtime bottle still. She started to take the bedtime one in a cup from about 15 months. Sometimes they just need time to get used to the idea and it may be a lot easier later on. So I would just try every so often and don't make a big deal out of it if he still refuses it. One day he will happily take it.

Thanks! That's logical advice. I hope he does. He's always been difficult with change.
