Okay. Totally dont want to go to the doctors for it, as totally embarressed but if need be, i shall go.
Thought i would see if anyone else had this first though as dont want to be wasting doctors time (our docs only has one nice doctor, the others are all A**Holes.

When Go to the toilet (number 2  ) i bleed, a lot from my bottom. its not hemmoroids, i know this for a fact as ive seen them before and i would know them if i ahd them.:blush:

I think its a tear from where ive gone from having constant runny stools, to really hard uncomfy ones, but ive never had to force it, ive never had to strain, so dont know how ive managed to get a tear.

Its got so bad, that i only have to go to sit on the toilet, and before i have even gone, theres lots of fresh blood dripping into the loo...

any ideas on how to prevent it?

So embarresed :blush::blush::blush::blush::blush:

Anybody? hope people aint reading it then just laughing :crys: :crys:

hiya hun its very common! think it should ease when baby gets here! (well i hope so!)

this may make you giggle though!
i have a 2 year old who has to follow me everywhere and on saturday i was on the loo and had a poop and was bleeding quite a bit anyway Holly barges in followed close behind by my oh(no bloody privacy!) so i stood up to try and shut the door on them and a tspot of blood landed on the floor. i then had oh banging the door panicking asking if everything was ok. i then had to sit him down and explain i was fine just bleeding from my bottom! the shame of pregnancy

so it isnt just me then and its nothing for my OPH to panic about :) hes insisting i go to the Docs because he was shocked at the amount. but hopefully it will ease then.

awwh poor you! it did make me giggle i have to admit
family eh who'd have em lol x

I have the same thing and in fact had it before I was pregnant. I had a similar poop schedule...fast speed and slow speed so my poor bum was almost always unhappy. I probably wouldn't call the doctor unless it hurts or seems infected.

diarrhoea can cause piles just as being constipated can - you don't need to see the external bumps to have piles either

all bleeding should be checked out by a Dr, better to be safe than sorry. if it is piles it should be healing, if they're not you need to look at your diet/cause of the loose stools. I am not a Dr, but I would wait for a couple of days to see if it happens again. If not then just look at your diet. If it does then I would get it checked out :) I can assure you from personal experience a thrombosed pile, or a fissure, is not fun :( better to have a happy healthy bum :)

is the blood bright red? is it less of a worry if it is but if it happens again you should still get checked out :) being pregnant puts extra strain on every bit of your body and unfortunately we sit on our bums, as well as have weird digestion so piles really aren't anything unique

no one tells us about this bit do they :D

all I've done today is post about bums  I need to get out more :haha:

Ladies, I am so sorry and dont mean to scare you but any bleeding from the back passage should be checked out by a doctor as it is not normal esp if its not a little bit on tissue and dripping in the loo, there are other reasons for bleeding from the anus and none of them are good and nice.

so personally Ild get checked, better to be safe than sorry!

Yup I'd get it checked too I know embarrassing but I sooner know my Dr was aware and happy everything was ok especially when it's not just a little.

Glad to know I'm not the only one having one extreme in one bathroom visit and the other in the next. I probaly went a little too hard when I was constipated and bled a tiny amount, but I think it was just a small tear because it was gone the next time I went. Someone told me it might be the amount of iron in my prenatal, but I'll ask at my appoinment before I make any changes there.

I've had lots of bleeding from the back passage throughout my pregnancy. Most of the blood is red but some is dark as well. I went to see a gastrointerologist at 17 weeks (I'm now at almost 38), and he ended up doing a sigmoidoscopy to take a look (loads of fun). It turns out that I have pretty severe ulcers in my colon. After the baby comes, they will likely do a complete colonoscopy to see how inflamed the colon is and if there are more ulcers or any other issues. The good news is that colon cancer is incredibly rare in young people, but other major issues like Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis are most often found in the under 40 group. Not sure that there's much of a point to my post, but I know what you're experiencing! It's always scary to see lots of blood coming from back there.

try2breathe - that sounds tough :( I'm sorry you're experiencing that
