"Bowel clearout" sign of impending labor?

TMI but Ive had to use the restroom several time today...and now they are starting to get more loose. Anyone else have experience with this and labor starting soon after?

Yep.... Started going to loo for no.2 from about 11pm the night before I had DS

This happened to me both times, had a big clear out the day before multiple times to the toilet for #2 and each time it got progressively looser till it stopped.

This happened with my first, had a huge messy clear out then gave birth 5 hours later!
So far I've had loose stools for 2 days now and am wondering whether it could be the start of something!

My labour stared with diarrhoea pains and a massive clear out for 3 hrs.... ( tmi lol)

It's possible. I had a clearout (very loose bowels) but it was about an hour after my waters broke and just as contractions were starting, so I knew I was in a labour already. Hope it's a sign for you!
