What do you guys think of these:

Hunter
Finley
Seamus
Declan
Kieran
Reilly

Neither of us are Irish, but we just love a bunch of Irish names :) It has been hard to come to an agreement on ANY names, so 6 is good enough for me, haha. Although my SO insists Finley/Reilly are girl's names.

I love Hunter and Declan they were on my list, Declan was actually my favourite but that was shot down by my oh because of ant and dec (not really a good reason not to use the name but anyway) and Hunter because it sounded "too American"

I also like Kieran on that list but not a fan of the rest.

I hate Hunter, and every second little boy I meet is called Hunter. The rest are great!

Kieran is my favorite! Not fond of Hunter. :(

Funny how different it is. In the UK hunter doesn't even feature in the top 100.

Kieran and Declan are my favorites from your list :)

I like Finley the best. The rest don't really do it for me and I actively dislike Hunter. I feel like I want to like Seamus but I'm not quite there.

I like Finley - but that's my niece's name, so I don't see it belonging to a little boy at all!

Hunter is ok, but I wouldn't use it.

The rest I'm too not keen on..:flower:

Hunter is my favorite. Second favorite is Finley. Not a huge fan of Seamus.

My favorite name on your list is: Riley (spelled this way) but I wouldn't use it bc it's more popular as a girl's name now.

I also like Finley & Declan. I think I would pick Declan as the best choice.

I greatly dislike: Seamus & Hunter

Kieran is a nice name - but I know a man named this and he hates his name. He said everyone always thinks it's a female name.

It is uber popular here. My kids have two cousins called Hunter and our neighbours son is another Hunter. Thomas has 3 Hunters as daycare. I hear lots of people say Munter which is so mean.

I know a male Riley spelt like this and love the name, dont associate it with a girls name at all. I know a female findlay and a male findlay at my sons school both spelt like this so that name could be either.

Like kieran
Dont like seamus or declan at all and Hunter Im warming to. Its certainly different, not a common name at all here in the Uk but strong and manly iykwim.
Xxxx

I really dislike Hunter too. Of all the activities you could name your baby after, killing animals wouldn't be top of my list. What if he turns out to be a really gentle sort or even a vegetarian?

I quite like Declan and Finlay is definitely a male name in my mind

im a veggie, have been for over 20 years and im completely anti killing anything but I see Hunter as just a name  (its a surname anyway)

its the same way kinda like Colt and Gunner but dont expect the child to grow up to own guns
or
how I like Cole but dont expect my kid to work in a mine
or
how I like Kitty but dont expect the child to change species

I just laughed out loud at the changing species part of that :haha:
