Hello,

I am asking for you to share any boy names that you like.. keep the list coming, haha. My husband and I have been thinking of : Christian, Noah, Caleb, Lucas, Luke, Alexander, James,.....but just can't seem to agree on one or find one we absolutely are in love with....and then find a middle name to go with that!... Tricky because I also want it to have a nice meaning behind it.....help! Ideas? what did you name your boys/what are your favorite boy names?

TIA! :)

Logan Robert will be our boy's name. Logan because both DH and I adore the name and Robert is my dad's middle name and I wanted something with my family to be added into Logan's name and it was the only name we really liked that flowed well with first and last name.

Some parents though don't know what to name their child until the child is born and they see their face. It can always change until you see the little one's face. I'd try not to stress too much since you do have names you do like.

I really like the names Tristan, Troy and Tyler. My husband had the 52% vote on our boys name so he will be named Brand. It means Shield in Ol' Norse. I basically didn't like the name in the beginning but it has now grown on me.

I always liked the name Tristan because of the movie Legends of the Fall, lol.

We just called our little boy Caleb but also had Luke, Lucas and Noah on our list as well as Isaac, Sebastian, Ethan and Zachary or possibly Zakeria. A couple I liked but OH wasn't as keen on were Tobias, Elliott and Elias.

We've chosen the name Oscar but we also had Jack and Finley on our list. We found it really hard to come up with boys names at first but we both came up with a list of names we liked and narrowed it down from there Some others I liked were:

Sonny
Theo
Lucas
George
Ellis
Blake

We're struggling with a boy's name too. Our first is Jack and on the (not so) shortlist, we have Noah, Cameron, Liam, Milo, Brennan, Max, Leo, Cole, Joel, Jamie, Avery, Marcus, Eliot, Lucas, Adrian, Nathan, Owen and Charlie. We also have Alexander and Austin down but only as middle name options. I really like Jeremy, Myles and Dominic but DH doesn't.

My faves are Riley, Joshua, Noah, Ezra, Lorenzo, Brody, Alfie, Archie, George, Isaiah, Isaac, Levi, Rhys, Beau, Harry and Henry :flower:

We've narrowed down our boys names to two: Elliott or Travis. Hubby is picky... One day he'll love a name and I think "yay! we've got it". Then a week later he'll hate it and it's back to the drawing board, lol. That's how he was with Elliott... He's been back and forth with it.

LOL same boat here! I think we have settled on Mathew William but it was definitely a struggle. I loved the idea of William as a first name but hubby worried about shortenings he didn't like. And we both really liked Michael or Jack but couldn't use cuz of previous family history & all my other fav's hubby vetoed like Andrew, Austin, Lucas, Harrison, Noah.

We've had our girl name picked out forever ago and it was so easy! Boy names are a different story. This is our shortlist:

Marshall
Sam
Fraser
Declan
Lincoln

To be honest we don't LOVE any of those names, we are just ok with them. So needless to say we still haven't decided on a boy name!

We had it narrowed down to two Oliver and Oscar and we have decided on oscar. We loved george but we know to many animals and people with that name. Xx

My son is Liam, I also like Owen, Ethan, Gavin, Nathan. There was also a boy in my son's class named Lincoln and I thought that was cute.

Our boy name is Oliver James, we really liked Christopher Alan too, but decided on Oliver.

Ds is Finlay, I love the name and it means blonde warrior, he is very blonde too!

Struggling so much with boys names now
We have Grayson, Spencer, Taylor, Ashton, Dexter, Theo, Callen, and Samuel on our list.

Our son is Micah, I also liked Lucas or Luca but OH wasn't keen. Other names on our list for a future son: Jonah/Jonas, Reuben, Aaron, Casper, Elias

Listing my favorite names wont help you find a name with meaning, lol. So instead... here are some ideas:

Special place-name of somewhere special (birth place, fav vacation spot, honeymoon location, name of the street you grew up on, etc)?

Have you written down all the first and middle names of relatives (surnames too)who are important to both you and your husband? Male & Female - bc there can be a female relative with a name that could work. Or a special family surname that could work as a boy's name? (Example: Your dear Grandma - Eva Jane - could work as Evan John) or (Example: Your mom's maiden name was Sawyer - could be used for your son.) Any names jump out at you when you write them all down?

Maybe your mom's fav flower? Or your sister's birthstone? Or the restaurant you went to on your 1st date with your husband? Do any of these ideas spark any meaningful connections for you that could possible work as a name?

Sometimes you have to think outside the box. For instance, I considered the name Jamie Paul (suggested by my mom actually) as a tribute to my mom bc she loves Paul McCartney and I guess his actual birth name is "James Paul" she said. Or I considered the name Cheyenne Marie bc her name is "Ann Marie." I think it's fun to look for creative ways to make a name special & meaningful to you.

From your list I love: Christian, Noah, Luke, & Alexander

Christian James
Alexander James
Noah Christian
Luke Alexander

I love Caleb but oh isn't keen :( also love Jacob but we already have a Jacob in the family x
