Now before you call me a cruel mum :haha: you can get them with cute little designs on the butt from places like eBay

However most of them seem to be for girls? I just want something comfy for him for around the house and not a huge fan of joggers.

My friend uses them. I'm not a fan of boys in tights personally but he does look cute.

What country are you in? I bought my son a two pack of grey and navy tights from H&M for £4.99 and in the cold weather we were having before I'd put them on underneath a pair of normal trousers to appear as socks because I used to hate leg skin showing if his trousers were to ride up and also as an extra layer to keep him warm. When we got home from outdoors I'd take the top trousers off and he would just be in his blue long sleeve bodysuit buttoned over the tights and it looked super comfy, warm and movable for crawling, as well as boyish. (a picture would be nice but I don't have one on the computer right now)

I have quite a few pairs of the ones from Amazon and they are about £1.50!! They have some really cute boys' designs but the quality isn't amazing. They bobble quite quickly but that being said they are fantastic for them crawling around and walking. I love them! They're called baby leggings on Amazon. Here's a link to one pair https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B0050UB42S/ref=mp_s_a_1?qid=1367518707&sr=8-5&pi=SL75

I had plain ones from mothercare. I put them under his trousers in the winter.

Try here, so damn cute

I had my little boys in tights all winter. His trousers would ride up and socks fall off, the tights kept him warm. I got them from H&M xx

I love leggings for my lo, he is a shorty and trips up in baggy trousers. Got mine from tiny nippers, pretty cheap (although you can tell)

This site is run by a friend of a friend https://www.littletitans.co.uk/Home.aspx Can't wait to use these with my lo this winter.

Wow these are amazing, I wish I could afford £15 for a pair of tights and I would buy all of these!

My boy wore tights much of the winter. I had a couple of pairs of those stretchy footless ones from amazon with the animals on the bum. But mostly he just wore girls tights! I got a three pack with one red, one navy and one white pair and he wore them loads round the house and underneath his trousers too when it was freezing cold out. It annoyed me when I looked in shops and it was always one white pair one pink pair. Even I was not putting him in pink tights! But when I found the red white and blue ones that was fine. I can't remember if they were from Asda or Mothercare.

I've never seen a boy wear tights here, I think it's just not done.

That being said, I've started. I think it's adorable. I blame BnB UK inspiration. Would love some links to somewhere that isn't too $ to order to Canada!

I may be wrong and each to their own and all but am I the only one that. Thinks tights are just for girls I just pull his roll down socks up so they they are like knee socks

Yes but pulling the socks up doesn't keep the legs as warm. The tops of the legs could get a cold draught. In the winter when it is snowy, the air can get up his trousers. Putting tights on adds an extra layer and it is safer in the car seat than wearing a big padded snowsuit. I don't see why they should only be for girls. Boys need to stay warm too! And because tights are nice and stretchy they are really good in the house for crawling around - socks can come loose on the feet and be a pain without shoes on.

Next have tights for boys, with little cars and stars on. My little boy wore tights under his track suit bottoms when it was very cold in the winter, the childminder has tiled/wooden floors and socks weren't enough to keep him warm xx

And that's where lined jeans or pants come in my little boys legs are never cold and when we are out he always is cosy with his footmuff on and a blanket depending on the weather as I said each to their own and that's my opinion as regards socks falling off his doesn't and he doesn't take them off

Until the early to mid 90s tights for baby and toddler boys under trousers were the norm, they tended to be plain and in ribbed fabrics. Mothercare and Boots used to sell them and my nephew wore them as a baby. It is only relatively recently that it has fallen out of fashion to put boys in tights. xx

An ex-bf of mine was known for borrowing a pair of my see-through tights for football training in winter
