BPD on 3rd percentile at 20week scan

hi

i went for my 20 week scan yesterday and was told that the BPD was on the 3rd percentile and so the consultant wanted to see me again at 24weeks for a review scan of the BPD. he said that baby is otherwise healthy, but the fact that the BPD was low meant he wanted to scan again.

has anyoneelse had experience of this? i currently have no other issues other than hypothyroidism that is stable.

BPD measurements can be quite innacurate. My consultant told me yesterday that they don't look at BPD. It is head circumference that they look at. What centile did this measure.
I am in a similar situation. BPD and HC on lowest centile at 20 weeks. Had a private scan at 21 weeks - everything was normal. Had another scan at my hospital and BPD and HC still low. The consultant said he wasn't worried as growth was on the same centile and all other measurements were normal. He said as the HC and BPD measures were in normal range, it just means that baby's head is smaller than average.

Do you knowif your baby was breech as this can effect measurements.
