My twins were born at 27 weeks after spontaneously going into labour. So this time I'm having cervical length monitoring, every 4 weeks. I've only had one so far, at my 20 week scan.

Although I know it's completely different this time as its a singleton pregnancy, and I've been reassured lots that it is unlikely to happen again based on that....
I've been having LOTS of Braxton Hicks since about 20/21 weeks - they're quite painful sometimes (always 'very uncomfortable' at the very least), and everything goes so tight that you can see and feel them (with mine/OH's hand).

I'm pretty sure they're harmless as they've never been regular or anything - I'm just curious whether anyone who has cervical length monitoring has had frequent/strong Braxton Hicks, and wether they've ever resulted in any difference in your cervical length measurement..?

I was last checked at 20 weeks (so before these tightenings started) and it was fine. My next check is in 5 days - I'm sure it'll be fine again but I'm a bit anxious that I'm going to see a change as a result of these tightenings, so just trying to get people's experiences opinions :)

I have weekly cervical checks due to previous preterm labour but have never had BH so can not provide any insight into a correlation. I hope your next appt goes well! I would absolutely bring it up to them as I was told to report any tightenings at all.

My cervix measured 3cm at 22 weeks. Ive had tonnes of braxton hicks, sometimes painful. At 32 weeks my cervix was 3.4cm
