Ladies...

TTC makes is crazy, especially when LTTC with infertility! Just broke a rule, wanna know if anyone else has done this and if anything happened that mattered/affected anything...

My doc ordered an HSG. His office totally screwed up when I was supposed to get it vs my ultrasound, wasting a month if my time. I know the HSG test is supposed to be done on CD 8-10 because of possible pregnancy (ha! We are scheduled for IVF with ICSI!!), which is almost a slap in the face to us at this point.

We only need the HSG to look at my possible bicornuate uterus, don't care if tubes are open or not. SO...rather than waste another month, I scheduled it for CD 16, lied to the a scheduler (eek!). My uterine cavity isn't changing, and I am def not preggo.

Go through with it and play dumb later?!

Don't blame you. It is so frustrating to have to wait. If you are clued in enough to understand what you are doing, and you clearly are, then I say, it's your body, your healthcare, your choice.

Unfortunately you will have to lie to get it done... yep I'd just play dumb later! I doubt you're the first woman to do it.

Honestly I would do it. I have told a few little white lies etc trying to speed up the process and gets things done too. It sounds like it isn't going to hurt anything. Best of luck.

got away with it! got a beautiful xray, no problems at all. thanks guys.
