I had an episiotomy and have developed an infection, the midwife sent off a swab. I've been given antibiotics ( drs phoned although not seen a dr),. I've been taking these since Friday and tonight baby will not settle at all she is screaming. I'm bf. I told the pharmacist I was bf and he said a bit will cross into the breast milk but I should be fine. And I need the sort out the infection. I'm worried my baby is having a reaction and nor sure what to do xx:hugs:

Check with the doctor. Antibiotics also kill good bacteria as well as bad so to avoid thrush it is advised to live yoghurt to mitigate this.
