Breast feeding and antibiotics

I had an episiotomy and have developed an infection, the midwife sent off a swab. I've been given antibiotics ( drs phoned although not seen a dr),. I've been taking these since Friday and tonight baby will not settle at all she is screaming. I'm bf. I told the pharmacist I was bf and he said a bit will cross into the breast milk but I should be fine. And I need the sort out the infection. I'm worried my baby is having a reaction and nor sure what to do xx

Check with the doctor. Antibiotics also kill good bacteria as well as bad so to avoid thrush it is advised to live yoghurt to mitigate this.
