I am a mum of 1 and I am a breastfeeding supporter, and student midwife to be. Firstly good on you girls for choosing to try breastfeeding, it is best for your baby in so many way and helps you get your figures back quicker and lowers your chances of getting all sorts of cancer's. However - a few words of advice, a few of you have mentioned expressing for giving bottle feeds when out. - Dont be ashamed to feed in public you can do it really discreetly and no one would know, dont even attempt to put a pump near your until at least 6 weeks after birth because your baby needs to get used to your breast and latching on can be difficult it is a skill you and your baby need to master and also if you put a bottle in your baby's mouth it will get really confused because the sucking action at the breast in completely different to a bottle. Dont worry about your OH - there are plenty of jobs for him to do - if you really want to breast feed you need to be doing all the feeding until its established. Try not to use dummies as these also confuse your baby and try to avoid giving top up feeds of formula cos your baby will have his/her tummy stetched by all the formula and then wont feel satisfied by your milk. Good luck to you all I hope this advice finds you well.
