Hi Ladies,

Am looking for some advice on what sort of breast pump (if any) to buy.

I plan on breastfeeding, but would like hubby to be able to have a turn feeding on occasion (e.g. 3am!), or if we were out for the evening etc.

So manual or electric, and double or single?

I'm thinking electric would be more efficient, so would double electric be the best?

Best brands?

Am keen to hear about your experices. Thanks :)

I have the Tommie Tippee hand pump and it works for me xxx

i had the avent manual and it was fine only reason i went and bought a electric one was because i was exclussivly expressing

hth

xx

I've used the Medela Mini and Swing electrics and I liked them both :)

I have the Madela Pump in style (double electric). Works great. The type you get would probably depend on how much you plan on pumping.

I have the medela swing (single one) and it's great. I guess electric is much more efficient if you plan on expressing alot. I found the tommee tippee manual to be very painful but it could just have been that I wasn't used to it.
