..start your periods again? Was it whilst you were still breastfeeding and if so, around how many months?

My son will be 8 months in 2 days, and I still have not had one. I am still breastfeeding him 99% of the time though.

I got mine a lot sooner than expected - my mum and sister who both breastfed never got their until they stopped - about 14 months PP.

I on the other hand got them about 2 months after Anna was born *grumble grumble* I guess everyone is different - Anna feeds a lot, too!

I just want to point out in case some people dont know, even if you dont get your period you can still ovulate and get pregnant while bfing. Some people believe that they cant, which may be true for some, but just be careful!

Well I guess I am hoping that will be the case for me! Want to carry on breastfeeding for about 12 months but would also like to be pregnant before Poppy is 1 if possible

Valerie is almost 8 1/2 months old and I still have not had a period. I have always breastfed and still do, but she eats food now also; so I don't breastfeed as much as I used to. Still no period, though!

I was sooo unlucky... I bled for more than 2 months post-partum and then started my period 3 months after giving birth. Argh!
