breastfeeding after nipple piercing

has anyone who is breastfeeding ever had a nipple ring in previously? i have one in now and am just wondering how soon before babies are born should i take it out and, if anyone had any problems breastfeeding after removing a piercing? thanx in advance

HI there, not sure if this helps at all but my bessie mate had a nipple piercing but for other reasons took it out before pregnancy and she found that when it came to breast feeding..... she had an extra leaky boob (despite the piercing being 'healed') I dont thikn it impaired her ability to feed at all

i had both mine done and i can bfeed with no probems

i had mine done and although its out now it works just fine
