Breastfeeding breakthrough!

Its finally happened, so I kinda broke down earlier, and was struggling with breastfeeding, but I didn't give Harley any formula today at all. And then it happened I went to nurse her a little while ago and she latched on and stayed on!! and she even fell asleep after she was full! She never gets full from it! Usually afterwards she's still hungry, but she wasn't! I'm so excited!!!!!!

Thats fantastic news - I know exactly how you feel my little one was 5 weeks prem and we spent three weeks in special care trying to get her to breast feed I nearly gave up so many times and then when she did it it was fantastic she was still difficult to latch for a while but she will latch quickly now !!

Thanks guys! Yeah its getting easier she hasn't had formula since yesterday! And this morning my mom came down and took her so I could sleep but brought her back a few minutes later, she was hungry and wouldn't take a bottle, but had no problem nursing, didn't even fuss! I was so shocked and happy I couldn't believe it!
