Hello!

I am leaving Ruby for the first time on Saturday night to go to my OH brothers 40th party... REALLY EXCITED but also REALLY NERVOUS!!

My mum is looking after her. I'm going to let her feed untill she has completely emptied bth sides before I go out about 7.30 - 8.00 and I'll be home at 2 at the very latest but I'm expecting it to be about midnight. My question is how much should I express to leave? I have 6oz in the freezer at the moment. I know that if she emptied both breasts at 7.30 she will only need one feed but i'm thinking I should leave 2 6oz bottles???

If I was to let her go to my mum overnight which is what mum would prefer how much should I express then say from 8pm untill 10am she normally sleeps thru midnight untill 7/8am maybe waking once for 15mins to feed. I would worry about her not settling for al this time without boob for comfort??

I hope this all makes sense.

Just get as much as you can together. I left 3 x 5 oz bottles on saturday night but she drained them so I'm gonna do 6oz next time. I left what I thought would cover it plus 2 extra bottles for emergencies and so I could drink and not have to feed her till the morning so I could have a few drinks and not worry.

You need to get pumping Lor!!! :) x
