Breastfeeding painful now I'm pregnant

I'm still feeding my 2 year old and was happy to continue doing so for the foreseeable future. However, I'm 8 weeks pregnant and it is very painful every time she latches on. I didn't want our bf journey to end like this but it's becoming unbearable. Was wondering if anyone else had been in this situation? Will it pass? If not I don't think I can carry on but it's really upsetting me to have to stop for this reason.

It passes for a lot of women-- it's usually a first-tri thing. My nipple pain disappeared with my morning sickness, give or take a week. There's a sticky at the top for breastfeeding during pregnancy. Might help to read others' experiences and get support in your own journey.
