I am trying to bf my twin girls as well, but one by one. Jogami, are you pumping as well? Did your milk come in fully?

Katrus with my son it was honestly trial and error and this time I just know better. The girls both have latched perfectly and I've had no problem with supply so far (touch wood!)

They are so pleasant and easy they make it easy for me. It is easier to feed one at a time but I'm trying to master the tandem feeding as time is better spent other ways.

Have not expressed yet but will try tomorrow to see how I get on, I'm not worried about it too much tho as its just been easier to put them on the breast and I don't want them to touch plastic for at least another month (if I can help it), but I would like a good freezer stash so I do want to express.

I really hope we can keep it up; but I'm super confident as I've not had to top up with formula and I really don't want to have to. They've got the best of the colostrum and my milk came in today. They are also eager. I wish you all the best and hope you a able to breastfeed your girls as well

Thanks, hun. I am a little jealous though))) I managed to pump just a tiny bit more than a few drops today, but it looked more like milk and less than colostrum. However, after having a breast reduction (with removal/reattachemnt of my areolas), that is quite an achievment of itself, so I know I just need to be more patient. My girls are not that eager to latch on cause they have already been spoiled with the bottles, and it is easier for them to suck on, obviousely. I am not giving up though. I just wish my milk came in in a good flow already...

Sam a little over one hour old. I'm still mostly paralysed from the spinal block for my EMCS, the midwife had to prop my arms up on pillows so I could hold him in place. Almost as soon as they let me have him he latched on and started suckling. When he got some colostrum in his mouth his eyes flew open, darted back and forth then widened as he obviously decided it was good and went to town on sucking.
