After a crappy few weeks thinking I'd unwillingly weaned my toddler by having no milk I've suddenly got colostrum, and she's started right back up again. I'm so pleased, as it was devastating knowing she didn't want to stop, but had no choice.
I really really hope we will be able to progress to tandem nursing.
Quite a lot! I just tend to let her have short feeds but she is out of the house most of the day at school anyway, and she still wakes at night a few times although her sleep is so much better than it used to be!
Does she wake to feed or for comfort ? Or both LOl... I only ask as I'm at the year mark now and LO still waking up to 3/4 times per night for a quick snack ! Hoping it would cahnge soon lol.... Looks like it won't !
Aw, mine still did this at night until she was 2 and a bit. I think it was habit more than anything by that point. She sleeps through the majority of the time now, and if she wakes, she doesn't ask. She just stopped on her own when she was ready. She still has some in the day maybe 3 or 4 days out of 7 per week.
She wakes in the night a few times but is easily resettled again. Its definitely for comfort rather than hunger but I don't mind. I am usually awake anyway with her younger brother who is an awful sleeper!
