Breastfeeding Photo's

This is such a precious photo to me. It's the only time I breast fed Dylan, it was about 10-15mins after he was born. It was the only time he feed pain free and latched ok. I never did get this moment again...

I now express all his feeds.

Awh hun, don't give up! Scarlett only started latching within the past week, it's early days yet!

What a beautiful photo (and you other ladies too! :flower:) I know that a lot of people oppose them but they helped me out SO much - have you tried using nipple shields for awhile to get him used to latching on? I was having the same problem because I have (well more like had now) inverted or flat nipples and Lachlan was having a hard time getting on there and then getting a big mouthful of the areola as well as the nipple. I weaned him off them at 3 months and never looked back. They could well work for you, Lachlan latched straight on to them at 3 days old!

Sending you big hugs :hugs:

I used nipple shields too, then one evening it just clicked and now she feeds fine! We haven't even had latch problems, which was surprising!

That's awesome, congrats :D Makes things a bit easier eh. I always used to lose the devils in the sink when I was washing them...lol.

Here's a pic from the other day of boobie time and then one of Lachlan with milk running out his mouth because he was nosy and pulled off to stare at the camera :p

I'll be brave and post one. We have plain boobie ones too, but since the tube is involved in half her meals that actually impart calories I'll post one of those.
